My lifelong dream has been to have a place to breed and raise dogs. I fell in love with Doberman's 8 years ago after my working German Shepherd suddenly passed away and Royal Von Hedenberg became part of our family.
My experience with working dogs is extensive. In college I fell in love with training my own dogs. My first German shepherd, Rauca, I titled in AKC obedience with a CD & became actively involved in Schuzthund training titling her to a Sch B. Then along came Decas, my 2nd German Shepherd that I raised and trained to achieve what few have is a HOT Sch III title (handler, owner trained), and AKC CD title.
As I continued training and titling my own dogs in Schutzhund, AKC obedience, and Agility I became a certified dog trainer and opened a dog training center. Where I helped strengthen the bond between owners and their canine companions as well as helping them achieve titles in AKC obedience & agility. Additionally I have trained a multitude of service dogs for both police, coast guard, and canine service companions.
It was at this time that I was fortunate to fall in love with and marry my "Helper" (the guy who puts on a bite sleeve and lets dogs bite him), best friend and life long partner, Todd Von Hedenberg.
After 15 years of professional dog training I decided to gain new experiences and became a Registered Veterinary Technician (certified pet nurse). I have over 13 years experience working in Emergency & Specialty veterinary hospitals, as well as day practice clinics.
I had worked with Dobermans in the past and recognized their innate physical ability, intellectual capacity and emotional depth they posses. Once you make a dober friend, you've made a friend for life.
